Back when I first got my computer (December of 2001) I decided to make a site about horses. I'd cobbled together some very basic skills from the Neopets HTML Guide and created thebarn I never made more than two pages. It was hosted on Envy.Nu and had annoying pop-up ads. I used animated gifs and the basic hex colours. My images still had a link border and it was, generally, dreadful =D |

Arghhhh! I was so proud of this site! I hardly made any pages on this either, and used dollz and very dotty gifs. Its address was paddocks0.tipod.com. In fact, it still is - I forgot my password and couldn't get it back, so that site is there in all its dotty glory :) Click here if you want to take a look. |

Hmmm, now we're getting there! My friend Louise (the experienced-in-websites one) told me about tables. Tables? I asked. Ahh, I see, they let me have a picture and text together. Magic =D This had graphic link buttons to a few main sections, and featured the first "Paddocks" title, which I modernised on PSP7 for this version. |

I added more images - each page had a rule at the top, some were animated. I made a menu bar and did a bit more work on the content, but there still wasn't much. My web skills were getting quite a lot better and I was proud of this page, even though there wasn't really anything special about it. |

Look familiar? This was the last layout. It was pretty much the same as the one I use now, but the images were a bit dotty and didn't quite fit together, so I made a second version of it, which is the layout you see today =D |
